It has been a while since I have posted something on the blog. The LORD is working in me in the furnace and it is not easy, but it is necessary.
My daughter share this with me a few days again and it just make so much sense, and felt that I need to share this truth.
Our grand daughter is five years. When she as baby started to eat solids, my daughter made her fresh vegetables and fruit every day, as she don’t believe in the prepared ones you can buy in the shop. There are just too much preservatives in the stuff.
As our granddaughter started to grow up and could decided what she wants to eat, she only wants bread, fish fingers or chicken nuggets. She just won’t eat vegetables and fruit. You know that is very unhealthy and that everybody needs the vitamins and minerals that we receive from our diet.
My daughter explained to her that she needs to eat more than just bread, fish fingers or chicken nuggets as her body is growing and her body needs the vegetables. When my daughter serve dinner, she let her taste the vegetables in order to get her to eat it and to establish what vegetables she prefer. Unfortunately, it is a struggle every evening and our granddaughter is crying and having tantrums.
When my daughter again prayed about the matter and asked God for help and guidance, He revealed to her that we are doing the same thing with Him. This is so sad.
As young born-again Christians we devour the bread of life (the Bible). As we grow in our walk with the Lord, we get to a point that we don’t want to hear about the truths that the Holy Spirit is showing us in our lives. We just want to obey God in the easy things and the rest we want to do our way. When God starts to deal with us regarding willful sin and unforgiveness and bad attitudes, we are throwing tantrums and screaming. Instead of learning what the Lord wants to teach us, get done with the issue and move on.
Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
We need to understand that the Lord is not going to let go. The sooner as we give our co-operation, the sooner we will get healed of scars and pain of the past. We will grow in our holiness and stand clean, white as snow, a perfect bride before the Lord our Bridegroom.
As the day of the Lord is getting rapidly closer by the minute, we need to start to lay ourselves down and submit to the Lord and learn the lessons He is teaching us. We need to learn from Israel you did a 11-day trip over 40 years. Going around the same mountain, because of hard heartedness and disobedience to God.
The day of the Lord is at hand. Are you ready, do He know you? Do you know His voice, do you have an intimate relationship with Him?
Prayer: Heavenly Father, we glorify your holy Name. There is none like you. Please forgive us our hard heartedness and disobedience to Your corrective teachings. Holy Spirit please help us to learn the lessons and understand what we need to learn. We need You every second of our lives to be able to life the live that will honor You. In Jesus Name Amen.
