Many people who understand what is going on in the world at this point in time, are excited because Jesus is coming very soon for His bride. (well, I am very excited, and cannot wait for the trumpet to blow)
One day as I was talking to the Lord and told Him how excited I am, the thought came to me, “what does this really mean for the re-born Christians?” The re-born Christians are the ones who will be raptured from this earth in a blink of an eye.
It is a while that I am working on this thought, as it is actually very important to understand it is not just for being taken away from this earth.
One of the things that come to my mind is that we need to know that it will be like when Israel had no king and God was their leader and king. It is necessary to understand that we will be directly under God’s authority. There will be no more corrupt governments, lawlessness and injustice.
The next thing is that as God is merciful, gracious, and loving. He is Sovereign, Omnipotent and Omniscient. What this means for us that we will experience all of this more directly than know. All though He is with us right now, it sometimes feel that He is far away. When we are in heaven we will be closer to Him than every before. We will experience His peace and presence all the time. Then we will know and understand completely and there will be no mysteries any more. As we strife to be obedient to the Lord on earth, it will no longer be a struggle for us and we will be at peace with it.
We will be able to worship our King non-stop and it will be of great joy to us to see our Lord and our Father and to know that we will be with them for every.
All of this is more than enough reason to live our lives on earth for His glory and honour Him. To be obedient to Him because we love Him. Ensure that the fire for Jesus is burning high and spreading the gospel to so many people as possible. Very important is the reason that we are anxious for the coming of Jesus, it must be, because we love Him and want to be with Him. Not just to get away for this earth and all the rubbish that is going on right now. We need to live holy and sanctified for Jesus our Bridegroom.
Prayer: Father thank you for Your word, and that You have prophesied that everything that is happening now, is part of Your plan. You have also warned us that we will know that Jesus is coming when we see all the signs. Holy Spirit please help us to be ready, living holy and sanctify us. Thank you for the work that You are doing in us to get us ready. May we be obedient and co-operate with what you are doing in us. In Jesus Name Amen Maranatha!
